Drivers

Drivers must be over 24 and under 76 years of age, and have held a full driving licence valid for the relevant vehicle for at least two years prior to the commencement of hire. Driver’s licence must be free of endorsements except for minor speeding or parking offences (drivers with more than 6 penalty points may be subject to an insurance loading).

Licences must be produced at the time of vehicle collection. The hirer must provide the CODE obtained from https://www.gov.uk/view-driving- licence so that the driving licence details can be verified.

Two utility bills or bank statements, less than 3 months old, showing same address as on driving licence must be produced at time of collection. Photocopies of these will be taken.

Insurance

Fully comprehensive insurance for the use in the UK is included within the hire charge. Personal possessions are not covered.

A £500.00 damage deposit/Bond is payable at commencement of hire, this will be taken as a pre-authorised card payment. Providing the vehicle is returned in good condition, whole and undamaged, with a clean interior, then the payment will be cancelled.

Front and rear bumpers, over-cab mouldings, roof lights, windows, wing mirrors and external doors are typical components prone to damage by negligence.

Particular care should be taken to avoid scratching of the side windows, these are made of soft plastic and are easily damaged by roadside hedges

Booking

The website will show cost, before discount or additions, and the duration of the hire, however the actual cost and duration are as above.

Full payment is required 30 Days before the start of the hire period, unless the booking is made less than 30 days prior to hire period, in which case payment should be made as soon as reasonably practicable.

Collection and returns

The hirer will be shown the operation of the vehicle and its various controls. One hour should be allowed for this.

The vehicle should be returned within one hour of the time specified at the top of the page. If there is a problem, then Stephen should be contacted. A delayed return is liable to be charged at £50 per hour.

The hirer acknowledges delivery of the vehicle clean and the contents free from any defect or damage and complete other than as specified by the company on the inventory/damage declaration form. The hirer is advised to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving our premises.

Upon return Kenneth or his representative will check the vehicle for damage, cleanliness (particularly the cooker, oven & chemical toilet); including the condition of the tyres and windscreen which are not included in the Company's insurance cover, any such damage is the hirer's responsibility.

Liabilities

We accept no liability for replacement vehicle costs, travel or accommodation costs or any other consequential loss claims arising from motorhome breakdown.

All accidents and any damage (no matter how minor) to either the exterior or interior including tv/dvd etc. must be reported immediately by telephone or email to Kenneth Allison 01728746 238.This will enable us to order parts etc. so that the vehicle can be repaired upon your return for the next hirer. For motor accidents an accident report form must be completed at the termination of hire.

The hirer shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred for speeding, parking fines, congestion charges and for any other offences committed against the Road Traffic Act or traffic regulations.

The hirer shall be responsible for all overhead damage resulting from any incident; overhead damage is defined as damage to any part of the exterior of the vehicle in excess of 6 feet from the ground.

Damage to windscreen, tyres and punctures are the responsibility of the hirer. You are required to check the condition of tyres and engine fluid levels on a daily basis.

The hirer is required to keep the motorhome under their control throughout the hire period. It must be locked at all times when unattended.

Fuel & Gas

The motorhome is full of fuel and needs to be returned full.If not full it will be taken to Framlingham and topped up or topped up at Hacheston the hirer charged at £2.10 per litre or cost at the garage.

One gas cylinder is supplied which should last for the length of hire. If a refill is required then it should be the same size and type.

Animals

Some animals are permitted in vehicle by prior arrangement. Any damage incurred will be charged to the hirer in full.

Smoking

You are not permitted to smoke in our vehicles.

Variations

This agreement can be only be modified by written agreement, any such variations must be called variation1, variation2 etc
